GENERAL QUESTIONS

Our office does not bill insurance. You may pay by credit card, or FSA/HSA debit card. Upon request, we can provide you with a copy of the superbill which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement for out-of-network care. The superbill is a detailed medical receipt that contains procedure codes, diagnosis codes, and the fees charged for your office visit. We cannot guarantee what reimbursement, if any, you may receive. We do not submit claims or call insurance companies directly. This is the responsibility of the patient.

We do not participate with Medicare, nor do we bill Medicare for any services rendered. A patient can NOT submit superbills to Medicare for possible reimbursement.

No, we do not directly offer payment plans. All fees are due in full at time of service. However, via our shop and rewards app, you can purchase individual services, packages and/or memberships and utilize financing with AFFIRM.

Unfortunately, when doctors participate with insurance carriers, they enter into a contract that allows the insurance companies to dictate what services will be supplied, limiting the quality of care that we believe you deserve. As costs continue to rise, insurance reimbursement has fallen, forcing most doctors to see more and more patients a day, keeping office visits very brief.  We believe this approach of seeing patients for shortened visit times does not allow us to create the personalized plan of care that is necessary in a wellness and lifestyle approach.

We have partnered with LabCorp and negotiated a lower, fixed lab cost for our routine blood work lab panels. Most have found that this cost is less than their copay for the same tests.  It also gives us the freedom to order a more comprehensive workup without concern for a denial of coverage, as the labs are paid for upfront.

MEDICAL WEIGHT LOSS

GLP-1 drugs for weight loss, like Semaglutide or Tirzepatide, are FDA-approved for people with obesity (defined as a body mass index, or BMI, of 30 or higher) or with a BMI of 27 or higher and a weight-related health condition, such as high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, or high blood pressure. A complete history of weight challenges, including documentation that other medications, diets, or exercise plans have not worked will also be assessed.

Path Health currently offers compounded GLP-1 medications Semaglutide and Tirzepatide in addition to lipotropic injections. We have partnered with FDA compliant compounding pharmacies to ensure our clients receive high quality and effective medications at affordable prices.

The most common side effects of GLP-1 weight loss medications include loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, constipation and/or diarrhea. These side effects are more likely to happen when you start the medication or if you’re taking an increased dose. Additional side effects may include dizziness, increased heart rate, headaches, indigestion.

At Path Health, we believe it is essential to incorporate lifestyle changes alongside taking these medications. Our roadmaps offer nutritional and fitness guidelines to support and optimize your success.

IV/IM THERAPY

Most people do not consume the recommended daily dose of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids or experience them in the most beneficial way for their health. IV Therapy allows these vitamins, minerals, and amino acids to be injected straight into the bloodstream safely and effectively for the utmost absorption.

One of the main benefits of IV Therapy is that your body receives the nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants directly into your bloodstream, taking in 100% of what your body needs before being flushed through your kidneys. When taken orally, nutrients are absorbed through your digestive system lowering the amount taken in by our bodies. Other benefits of IV Therapy include, but are not limited to, hydration, healthier skin, nail, and hair, a boost to our immune systems, an increase in energy levels, assistance to organ functions, and can help ease anxiety and promote relaxation.

Completion from intake to IV drip will typically take 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the amount of fluid in your bag. A nutraceutical injection can be completed in as little as 15 minutes.

Various factors affect individuals differently. Nutrition, hydration status, and how often you receive IV therapy can have meaningful effects.

There are no restrictions after your therapy is completed. You can go about your day as normal.

If you are healthy, IV Therapy could be done daily. Most people do not put such a demand on their bodies that IV Therapy would be necessary to be done every day. The most frequent dosage is bi-weekly, but one should tailor their IV therapy experience to fit their schedule and lifestyle.
